This is how saskatoons are collected in bulk, to be used in jams, pies, syrups, and variety of baked goods. Some farms also provide fruit to wineries and distilleries.
We have about 70 to 100 mature Saskatoon berry trees/bushes on our 5 acres. We just discovered we own such a treasure (feels like I won the heathfood lottery). I was curious of how we could get these harvested this year or what would you suggest as a way to both not let these berries go to waste and if I may make any money to put towards making sure they are healthy next year.
